It’s that time of year again for our 4th annual Tasting Experience!! With how crazy the world has been for 2020, I felt that it was important to continue with the tradition and move forward with hosting my annual tasting experience. This year, the format will be a little bit different from previous years, but the experience will remain top notch and inspirational.

You'll indulge in a complete sensory experience with brilliant decor, specialty lighting and soothing music. While you taste and sip, you'll have a chance to tour our gorgeous venue and speak with venue representatives and wedding professionals who were involved in putting together such a beautiful event. 

The Tasting Experience is ideal for newly engaged couples, current The Cloth Mill couples, corporate & wedding planners, and anyone interested in hosting an event!  

In an effort to provide all my guests with a safe, socially distanced experience this year; timed reservations will be required to attend. Upon registering for the experience, you will select the time block you would like to attend. Each time block will be limited to 45 minutes to allow ample of time to experience The Cloth Mill.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Because 2020 has been a rough year for many North Carolinans, I am not charging a fee to attend this year. What I am asking is that you provide a non-perishable food item donation to enter. All food items will be donated to TABLE. TABLE has been feeding local children at risk for hunger since 2008. Through our hunger relief and nutrition education programs, we provide healthy emergency food aid to children in Orange County, North Carolina every week and educate them about healthy eating habits.

During the COVID-19 school closings, TABLE fed children in Orange County by delivering bags of food directly to their doorsteps. Currently, we are feeding more than 675 kids – about 560 weekly and about 115 more biweekly.

This year we are mixing it up and providing engaged couples an wedding show and bridal experience like no other. In a season of wedding shows, The Cloth Mill wanted to provide an experience where you will feel like royalty.

First up is our Venue Showcase from 11 am-1 pm where you will nosh, toast, and mingle with some of our preferred wedding professionals and take exclusive tours of our urban and chic venue.

Next up, is our Bridal Experience from 2 pm-5 pm, where Tre Bella Bridal will be hosting an exclusive wedding dress sample sale in our beautiful venue. You will have the opportunity to sort through and possibility try on gorgeous wedding dresses at sample sale prices. A curated collection of sample sale dresses ranging in price from $300-1500 with an additional 15% off listed price if you buy your dress that day!! Designers include Blush by Hayley Paige, Modern Trouseau, Jasmine, Lazaro, and more.

WINK Hair & Make Up will be there offering wedding day beauty consultations with a braid bar and lipstick application. 10% off discount if you book WINK that day for your wedding.

Poppy & Co will have a pop up shop where you can purchase all of your bridal jewelry and wedding party gifts.

You’re invited to the Third Annual Berlin Brothers Christmas Orchestra ft. The Irvettes, sponsored by Mystery Brewing Company!

This 12-piece band includes a full horn section and expands to include a 10-piece choir, dubbed The Irvettes! The all-star 22-piece Berlin Brothers Christmas Orchestra includes many of North Carolina’s favorite musicians and singers, including members of The Squirrel Nut Zippers, Curtis Eller’s American Circus, Tres Chicas, Boom Unit Brass Band, and The Wiley Fosters.

Popular favorites will be performed live, including “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “Angels We Have Heard On High,” alongside lesser-known hits like Shirley Temple’s “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas” and Run-D.M.C.’s “Christmas In Hollis.”

This event is FREE and ALL AGES. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. However, we won’t turn anyone away if they’re late. Come whenever you can and stay as long as you can! We want to fill The Cloth Mill with friends, family, and holiday cheer. Drinks will be served by Mystery Brewing Company and On the Rocks Bartending. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.

Best of all, we’re raising money for Arts For Life, an organization that brings art and musical programming to children in hospitals across North Carolina. Donations are encouraged!
